Baguette & Tea, located in the vibrant Chinatown area of Houston, TX, is carving a niche for itself with its delightful Vietnamese cuisine. As a food reviewer at Goto Where, I've discovered this haven where traditional flavors meet cozy ambiance. Over the past two years, loyal patrons like Gabriel Charles praise the consistent quality of their banh mi, especially the lemongrass version, complemented by perfectly grilled pork spring rolls. While service may have a leisurely pace, the warm, friendly demeanor of the staff ensures that every visit feels welcoming.
Chris H asserts that they serve the best bun rieu in Houston, bursting with flavors that capture the essence of Vietnam. The extensive menu tantalizes with a range of dishes, making each meal a new adventure. Regulars appreciate the modern, spacious layout—including outdoor seating options—which provides a comfortable dining experience. Customer Leslie shared her appreciation for the attentive service during a large order, underscoring the staff's commitment to making every guest feel valued.
Whether you are indulging in the rich and flavorful bun bo hue or simply enjoying the atmosphere with a cup of tea, Baguette & Tea stands out as a must-visit destination for Vietnamese cuisine lovers.

Been going here for alittle while alittle more then 2 years and their service seems consistant, i always order the banh mi (lemon grass) and 2 grilled pork spring rolls. I cant comment on anything else because thats all i eat. Service is alittle slow but doesnt bother me any, im not in anu rush when i go there. Always nice people working there smiling. Would def recommend trying them out if you havent.

The food here was absolutely delicious and the staff was amazing. They were very patient with us because we had a large order, they also helped us order because it was our first time here. I cannot stress enough how happy I was with our service. Even though our order was large everything was made correctly and it tasted amazing! I highly recommend the food here

The best Bun Rieu for me. Such a comforting dish! The tomato-based broth had a lovely tang, and the crab paste was so fresh. Loved it!

The young boy staff was pretty nice and took care us perfectly. I love the pork banh mi, very flavorful. Even though the beef soup took a while to come out, the quality was outstanding. I think they make it fresh, so it is gonna take time a little bit, but it deserves.

Food was up to standards. The flavors were there. The broth from Bun Bo and Bun Rieu was well-balanced enough, but with the Bun Bo, the vermicelli lacks firmness, so there's definitely room for improvement. Com Tam was fine. Pork chop was well-seasoned, though a bit too oily. Shredded pork skin, however, had too much five spice powder mixed in, overpowering the whole dish. The best part about Com Tam was hands-down the steamed egg meatloaf - great taste, great texture. Service was good. Staff and owner alike was friendly and helpful. Menu was super diverse so definitely coming back to try out more options.
